Entries for the Championships are open to all financial club members.

Entries close on Friday 29th March 2019, the draw will be posted on Thursday 4th April 2019, so be quick to get your entry forms in!

Senior Club Championships

• You may enter a maximum of 3 events.
• ALL members are eligible to enter the Championship events. Numbers of entries will dictate the format of each event.

Event Formats:

Championship Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles

Initial Rounds: 2 Full Tie-Break Sets. 3rd Set Super Tie-Break (1st to 10 - win by 2) Semi Final and Final: Best of 3 Full Tie-Break Sets
Championship events will be an “Elimination” draw
First round losers may go into a Consolation Plate event.
These events are open to all members

Division 2 Singles

2 Full Tie-Break Sets. 3rd Set Super Tie-Break (1st to 10 - win by 2) Final: Best of 3 Full Tie-Break Sets
Division 2 events will be an “Elimination” draw
First round losers may go into a Consolation Plate event.
These events are open to:

• members with a Tennis League CTR Player Rating (in Singles) not higher than 6 (as at 30th March 2019)
• members with no Tennis League CTR Player Rating (in Singles) and deemed by the Club Championships Committee as eligible based on known performance

Over 45s Doubles, Over 65s Doubles

All Matches: First to 9 Games. Tie-Break at 8 Games All (1st to 7 – win by 2)
Over 45’s Doubles and Over 65’s Doubles events will be in the “Round Robin” format (unless numbers dictate otherwise).

Plate Events

All Matches: First to 9 Games. Tie-Break at 8 Games All (1st to 7 – win by 2)
Plate events depending on numbers will be either a ‘Round Robin” or “Elimination” draw.
